RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support manager to propose on M&A strategic options; assess of potential opportunities of sectors and companies that might be viable business targets.
• Liaise with China producers for commercial matters (e.g. to purchase Sugar) and to resolve commercial/ operational issues as necessary.
• Make sales of white and refined Sugar to 3rd party customers.
• Working with millers to get offers and information.
• Maintaining good relationship and getting information on recent trade activities by millers.
• Recommendations and review of counterparts.
• Analysis, assessing and communicating to the manager of high-level business impacts and risks.
• Analysis of China’s domestic, import and export markets of Sugar through interaction with local customers and exporters, and government organizations, subsequently producing as/when a report on trade activities.
• Supply and demand analysis of China’s balance sheets for demand and trends in Sugar.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Finance or equivalent.
• Graduated in Marketing or Finance.
• Around 2-3 years of previous experience in operations/execution required.
• Understanding of the commodities and product market (background in Sugar market is a plus)
• Planning.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team.
• Project management skills and the capability to accomplish tasks assigned on time.
• Fluent in English, Chinese.
• Honesty, carefulness, high sense of responsibility.
