RESPONSIBILITIES

1. GL (General Leadger):

  • The accounting organization and accounting department ensure compliance with the Accounting Law and current legal regulations.
  • Prepare accounting reports according to Vietnamese Accounting Standards VAS.
  • Manage and depreciate fixed assets, allocate tools and equipment, pre-paid expenses, accruals, reserves, dividend management, etc., in accordance with regulations.

2. AP (Account Payable):

  • Organize to ensure payment activities for external money transfers to serve internal customers and suppliers, participate in organizing bids, quotations, tender evaluations, contract reviews to comply with payment and tax regulations.
  • Manage and reconcile Nostro accounts regularly.

3. AR (Account Recevaible):

  • Organize the management of all debts of individual customers, credit card customers, corporate customers…
  • Execute accounting transactions for debt collection through connecting with loan monitoring systems and debt collection payment channels.
  • Monitor debt classification and reserves as per the regulations of the State Bank of Viet Nam (SBV).
  • Develop debt collection payment channels for customers.

4. SBV & Tax Report:

  • Organize the preparation of statistical reports, tax reports, and other reports as per the regulations of SBV, Tax authorities, and authorized government agencies.
  • Design tools or support systems to connect with current core systems to extract report data automatically and conveniently, always meeting the requirements of government agencies.

5. Process Development:

  • Organize the establishment of regulations, processes, operational procedures within the Accounting Department; evaluate the effectiveness of these processes and regulations in practice for continuous improvement, enhancing labor productivity and operational efficiency of the Accounting Department and the whole Company.
  • Participate in sales campaigns, sales promotion programs, new product development, IT projects, system development or improvements of the Company, providing advisory roles related to payments, taxes, value assessment, pricing…

6. Responsibilities: 

  • Take responsibility before the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Board, Board of Directors for accounting activities, accounting figures according to the assigned functions and tasks in compliance with Accounting Law, Tax Law, and other relevant current regulations.

7. Human Resource Management: 

  • Organize the human resource department, assign tasks in the Accounting Department to fulfill annual plans, work plans, KPIs… approved for each period.

8. Participate in Asset – Liability Committee (ALCO), projects… as required, and perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduated from university or higher education in majors such as economics, accounting, finance… Possession of a Chief Accountant certificate, ability to read documents and communicate in English.
  • At least 10 years of experience in accounting in a credit organization. Including a minimum of 5 years of experience in positions such as Deputy Chief Accountant or higher in a company with more than 600 employees. Preference for experience in equivalent positions in consumer finance companies.
  • Proficient in accounting systems, statistics, regulations of the Accounting Law, Tax Law, payment regulations, accounting standards; regulations of the State Bank….
  • Leadership skills, ability to connect and motivate employees. Negotiation, persuasion abilities, working independently as well as in a team effectively.
  • Ability to connect with relevant units, monitor and decisively resolve issues.
  • Ability to constantly improve, adapt to new techniques and technologies. Honest, careful, flexible, and decisive.
  • Ability to plan, organize work, and effectively manage personnel.
