RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operation tasks:

• Responsible for the first layer support for on-premise products.
• Take part in upgrading software versions (planned deployments).
• Responsible for handling common issues.
• Closely monitor the systems to detect problems early and follow tidely the customers’ issue handling procedure.
• Take part in debugging, troubleshooting to find out the root cause.

2. Development tasks:

• Accompany team to build solutions to resolve pain points related to products (improving performance, fixing bugs, patching CVE, improving existing stacks related to monitoring, logging, orchestration,…).
• Build CI/CD flows.
• Build & maintain dev/test environments in multiple clouds from crash.
• Take part in system design, testing and evaluating the new technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum qualifications: BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Windows OS.
• Familiar with one of scripting languages like bash, powershell, Python.
• Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services.
• Knowledge of basic statistical mathematics to understand and build Monitoring and Alerting.
• Desire to work in an information systems environment, eager to learn and improve your skills.
• Ability to creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Strong ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with customers, vendors and partners, and across all levels of the organization.
• Logical, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Bonus points:
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Gitr), CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins or similar) and other automation/configuration tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform or similar).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes or similar).
• Experience with Cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google).
