RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Daily:

  • Check the information on the production order (formula/quantity of allocated materials/number of days) before distributing raw materials and formulating, as well as the condition of clean packaging/environment of production/ equipment.
  • Check batch production records, inspect and prepare requisition notes (additional, re-entry) for materials in batch records, check equivalent product transfer notes to verify material consumption in the workshop.
  • Inspect and monitor the condition of packaging materials (quality and quantity) to make appropriate production plans.
  • Participate directly in production with team leaders/deputies at the production lines.
  • Check the quantity of finished goods sold, goods received into inventory for each batch after completion on the company’s software.
  • Develop, train, supervise the implementation of procedures, provide guidance on tasks related to production operations as directed by the Production Supervisor.
  • Check and supervise workers on operations, ensure compliance with labor safety regulations, environmental hygiene, fire prevention at the production area.
  • Monitor, check machinery and equipment in the work shift, ensure everything operates smoothly, is not damaged, or faulty.
  • Based on actual conditions, prepare repair request forms, purchase new equipment or tools, send to the Production Supervisor for review and approval.
  • Check, supervise production conditions on the lines: ensure products are produced according to approved processes and maintain production progress according to the schedule (including the Housekeeping team). Immediately report to the Production Supervisor any discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
  • Check and monitor compliance with labor safety regulations on the production lines.
  • Adjust personnel between teams reasonably when requested by Production Team Leaders.
  • Regularly monitor and urge workers to complete tasks; remind teams at the end of the day to arrange goods neatly and keep the workplace clean.
  • Check, evaluate any deviations from production processes (staff arrangement, task coordination, machinery and equipment quality, etc.) to identify causes and proactively prevent and find ways to improve.
  • Update production orders: product names, specifications, quantities, packaging conditions; update inspection of log records – forms in production.

2. Weekly:

  • Create weekly production plans.
  • Update production orders: expected production dates for products in the week, projected delivery dates.
  • Assign, supervise workers working on the production lines.

3. Monthly:

  • Complete monthly reports: related to inventory input quantities, unfinished product quantities, and production delays, cross-check, verify the attendance records according to the actual work of Team Leaders, ensuring no excess or shortage of labor.
  • Periodically conduct evaluations assessing the production activities of the plant under the supervision of the Production Supervisor.
  • Control and budget for office supplies.

4. Other Tasks:

  • Collaborate with related departments to carry out tasks in the production department.
  • Inspect the production environment, participate in periodic assessments.
  • Conduct regular and surprise inventory checks in case of any abnormal incidents.
  • Carry out urgent tasks as assigned by the Plant Director and company leadership.
  • Act on behalf of the Production Supervisor to organize and conduct regular and ad-hoc meetings with Team Leaders, group leaders of the production workshop in the absence of the supervisor.
  • Inherit the authority of the Production Supervisor to handle related tasks and arising issues during their absence.
  • Be responsible for establishing regulations and rules for the production workshop.
  • Report weekly and monthly work to the Production Supervisor and Leadership Board.
  • Oversee, care, and promptly attend to the spiritual and material well-being of workers on a regular basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in aseptic drug manufacturing or in pharmaceutical production management at a GMP-WHO/Pic/s certified factory. Training in Good
  • Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is required.
  • Ability to manage operations.
