RESPONSIBILITIES

• New Product Introduction (NPI) State
• Firmware greenlights support
• Troubleshoot power on blockers during bring up
• Execute the checking items on FW greenlight checklist Report failures systematically on corresponding bug systems
• Provide/ analyze the root cause of power on/ greenlight blockers through studying MCU firmware logs OS crash dumps OS event logs and MCU firmware/ driver source codes
• Complete relevant tasks in a timely manner according to project requirements Sustaining State
• Firmware maintenance
• Support regular retail firmware and Customer OS refresh coordinating the deployment making necessary source code change and qualifying the released SW bits
• Provide customized experimental firmware for FA purpose
• Join FA meeting discussing analyzing and validation tasks

REQUIREMENTS

• A BS/ BEng in Computer/ Electronic/ Information/ Automation Engineering or Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in firmware or embedded system development X86 ARM RT6XX good programming standards understanding of hardware underlying layers and the ability to read schematics
• Strong C/ C coding skills
• Experience with various busses and interfaces for example UART USB I2C ADC and SPI are beneficial
• Experience on using debugging tools for example Jlink, logic analyzer protocol analyzer ITP etc: SW IDE: IAR VS code familiar with GIT
• Able to debug across various environments and to quickly identify and resolve issues spanning multiple subsystems owners and organizations
• Strong logical thinking and good ability to analyze and solve problems – Experience with new hardware bring-up factory manufacturing
• Fluent in English
